Custom Aisle Runner for Viridis

I have been working on Viridis' hand painted wedding aisle runner for a while... it's a very complicated design, but it's super gorgeous and she is going to be thrilled with it when it's done.  Here's just a teaser photo, but many more photos will follow on this one!

Inspiring Wedding Images

I came across this beautiful photo that I found to be completely inspiring.   This is the kind of memorable image that every couple hopes to have in their album.

Custom Aisle Runner for Crystal and Octavio

I worked closely with Lauren, Crystal and Octavio's wedding planner, to design the artwork for this aisle runner.  We took the inspiration from the bride's bouquet and incorporated her pink roses and stargazer lilies with lush green leaves.  The floral swags frame the monogram with names painted in brown and pink in a completely elegant font.  The result?  One gorgeous custom aisle runner!   The design is done on a sheer, non woven aisle runner, so the photographs show white paper underneath (so the artwork can be seen clearly).

Custom Aisle Runner for Michele

I just finished packing up Michele's custom aisle runner and had to show everybody!  Michele had sent me her wedding logo (isn't it great?) and aisle runner design for her destination wedding next month and it came out so beautifully! It's done in magenta with the splash of orange on the ampersand.  How tropical!
The design is painted on a wide 60" runner on heavy weight canvas material.  The logo is at the center of the aisle runner with graduated clusters of orchids at the front and back.  Everything is beautifully framed with a hand painted wide border on all sides.     I am so happy with it!

Etsy Wedding Finds - Handmade boutonnieres

I was spending some time on Etsy this evening and found Erica Cavanagh's shop.  The shop is full of lots and lots of beautiful handmade items, but I particularly liked the boutonnieres!
Aren't they great?  She will custom make them to your specifications and colors.  You can also find bouquets, hair clips, corsages, shoe clips and so many other things to match.   Cute!

Nadine's Aisle Runner

Nadine had contacted me and needed a hand painted aisle runner very quickly for her daughter's upcoming wedding.  I put her at the top of the work calendar and got it finished pretty quickly.  Working with Nadine to put together the perfect design that matched the beautiful wedding invitations was really enjoyable.  There are so many nice people out there!  Anyway,  I was in such a rush to get this aisle runner packed and shipped out, that I didn't snap too many photos, but I am hoping to get some from the actual wedding!

Katie's Custom Aisle Runner

Katie contacted me in need of a hand painted aisle runner... in a big rush!  The original person that was supposed to do her runner suddenly couldn't do it - and she didn't have much time before her wedding!  She already had her design, and just needed it painted, so I did my best to accommodate her.  I had a small hole in my calendar, and this fit right in.  While discussing color, Katie told me that she had peacock feathers in her pew markers, and her colors were turquoise and lime green.   How beautiful!  I have really been wanting to do a design with peacock feathers, so I proposed adding some hand painted free-floating feathers on her aisle runner and Katie agreed!  Here is the artwork that we decided on:
Photos of the completed runner coming soon - but it came out just beautifully!

Claire's Aisle Runner

I did a custom aisle runner for Claire a few months ago, and I was so excited to get a message from her the other night.   Claire had originally contacted me and asked me to do an aisle runner design for her with fuschia hydrangeas, first names and last initial.  I did a couple of sketches and Claire picked her favorite.
The design was painted onto her runner and it came out just beautifully.
Claire contacted me to send me a photo of her aisle runner in a frame hanging in her new home!
I think it looks just beautiful!  Thank you Claire for remembering me!
